Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Monday- Friday 10 AM- 4PM EST; Closed for USA federal holidays.

 

Q: What size bracelet should I order?

A: We recommend that you measure the narrowest area of your wrist with a tape measure. Pull the tape measure close to your skin, but not do not squeeze it tightly. We recommend adding one inch to the number you come up with. For example, if your wrist measures 7.0 inches, you should purchase a bracelet that measures 8.0 inches. If your wrist measures 7.25 inches, then you should purchase a bracelet that measures 8.25 inches, and so on. It is imperative that you know the wrist size of the recipient in order to select the proper bracelet size. We offer BOYBEADS bracelet resizing for a fee of $15 per bracelet. If a customer returns a bracelet for resizing, we cannot simply add or remove a bead- the entire bracelet must be cut and made again. Completing this process requires up to two hours of labor per bracelet. 

If you are between sizes, we recommend that you size up. A bracelet that is too tight is at a greater risk of breaking than one that is a little larger than necessary.

If you are not able to acquire the wrist size of the recipient, we strongly recommend purchasing a BOYBEADS gift certificate. This allows the recipient to select his/her proper bracelet size and options.

Q: How can I make a custom bracelet or necklace order?

A: As custom orders require extra special attention, time and material sourcing, they are reserved for BOYBEADS collectors only. Having a custom piece of jewelry made just for you is a very special priviledge. As so, we welcome our most loyal supporters with $500 or more in merchandise orders or 5 or more unique orders/transactions of any value to email us for custom orders.

 

Q: How long have you been in business?


A: Boybeads was started in November 2011 in Philadelphia, PA. We have since moved to New York, NY. All items are made by hand in New York and ship from United States Post Office locations in New York, NY or from our location in Houston, TX.

Q: What makes BOYBEADS special?

A: All of our bracelets and necklaces are made by hand in New York, NY. We do not buy pre-made bracelets from other countries to save on materials and labor. We source as many as possible of our stones, charms and tools locally, in order to support the local buisinesses that we love so much. They are the businesses that pay local taxes and support our community, city, state and country. BOYBEADS are not made with man-made or created beads. All of our beads are natural stones that have formed in the earth and been professionally cut and polished for jewelry use.

BOYBEADS gives back! Each month we donate a portion of  profits to a different charity. In the past we have made donations to CARE, PAWS of Philadelphia, The New York Public Library, Whitman Walker Clinic, and The FEED Foundation. The more we sell, the more we give! Q: How can I obtain free shipping?

FREE SHIPPING (first class) in USA on all orders. FREE SHIPPING (first class) in United Kingdom and Canada on orders over $100. Simply add your selected products to your cart and continue to checkout. Select "Free Shipping" at checkout. Free shipping is not available to any other countries at this time.


Q: Do you have a return policy? 

Absolutely! If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please log in to your account and initiate a return request. Mail your return to the following address:

We would like for every customer to be completely satisfied with his or her purchase. Refunds or exchanges are available for up to 30 days after the date the item was delivered. If your order shipped free, actual USPS shipping charges will be deducted from your refund amount. Return shipping must be paid by the buyer. Please use USPS for your return as UPS/FedEx,etc. will not deliver to P.O. boxes.


Q: Do you ship packages internationally?

Yes; we ship to most countries around the world. Please select your country at checkout. Any customs duties or VAT are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not profit from VAT charges. We are legally obligated to declare BOYBEADS purchases as merchandise and list them at the actual sales price.


Q: How do I use a promotion/coupon code?

We do not have promotions often. If you have a valid BOYBEADS promotion code, first add all of your preferred items to your shopping cart. Then, enter coupon code in the little box beside "Coupon code (optional)" on the checkout page. 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments from any major credit or debit card, Stripe, or Paypal. 


Q: Do you offer loyalty points, gift certificates etc?

Q: Why can't I add an item to my shopping cart?

If you cannot add an item to your shopping cart, then the item is sold out. Please e-mail details@boybeads.com to inquire about future stock.
